Each year our organization develops and presents community programming
in the areas of Health, Education, Employment and Economic Development.
Recently, we have expanded our focus to include programs on Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Service. This club year, we formed
a partnership with Nationwide Insurance to host the following programs:
Women’s Empowerment Explosion 2011
Focus: Leadership, Entrepreneur, Technology & Service (L.E.T.S.)
Date: December 3, 2011
Time: 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon
Location: T-BAAL, Downtown Dallas @ Canton & Akard
Purpose: To Empower Women and Enhance Their Financial Literacy
Target Audience: Women 18 years and older, particularly single and disenfranchised women
Benefit: The audience will gain strategies in personal and financial development that can enhance their capacity to lead organizations, to start and/or manage businesses and to use technological applications to support their business, professional, and personal needs.

2012 National Women’s History Month Program
Theme: Women’s Education – Women’s Empowerment
Date: March 24, 2012
Time: 11:00 a.m.
Location: Desoto Civic Center
Purpose: Observance of National Women's History Month.
Target Audience: Women & girls of all ages
Benefit: Knowing about the contributions and accomplishments of successful women can help others to learn from prior mistakes, to understand the challenges that were faced and to gain strategies that will help them to either address those challenges or achieve in spite of them. The information could be the catalyst that inspires others to work harder toward realizing their goals and dreams.

49th Annual V. Alyce Foster Trailblazer Awards Luncheon
Theme: Dazzling with Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Technology & Service
Date: Saturday, April 21, 2012
Time: 12:00 p.m.
Location: Hilton-Anatole Hotel
Purpose: To raise scholarship funds for graduating high school seniors and to encourage others by highlighting and honoring deserving individuals who have made significant contributions in the Dallas Metroplex, the State of Texas, and our nation.
Benefit: Proceeds provide thousands of dollars in scholarships annually to deserving high school seniors within our community. Contributions make a tangible impact on the financial challenges facing many graduating high school seniors as they pursue their dreams of a post-secondary education.
